This Privacy Policy explains how RakTiak, operating Tailored-CV ("Tailored-CV", "we", "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our resume-tailoring application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

• Account information - your name and email address, provided directly or through Google sign-in.
• Resume content - the base resume, job descriptions, and tailored versions you create or upload.
• Usage data - how you interact with the Service, such as features used and pages viewed.
• Technical data - device, browser, and approximate location derived from your IP address.

How we use your information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To generate tailored resume suggestions and match scores at your request.
• To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support.
• To detect, prevent, and address security or technical issues.

We do not sell your personal information. Any use of your content to improve our models is strictly opt-in and can be turned off at any time in your settings.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service (such as hosting, authentication, and payment processors), and only as needed to perform their work. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights and users.

Data retention

We keep your account and resume content for as long as your account is active. You can export your data at any time and delete your account, after which we remove your content within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can exercise most of these directly in the app, or by contacting us.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and promptly address any vulnerabilities we identify.

Data controller

Tailored-CV is operated by RakTiak, a sole proprietorship registered in France (SIREN 941 238 685, RCS Bobigny). RakTiak is the data controller for personal information processed through the Service. For data requests, contact privacy@tailored-cv.com.
